Exquisite Collagism Workshop

In the spirit of the Surrealist Party Game ‘Exquisite Corpse’ we go BEYOND using Collagism ideology and methodology to collaboratively make collaged portraits, figures and masks.

Exquisite Corpse was a game played by Surrealist artists - a collaborative, chance-based parlor game, typically involving four players. Each participant would collage or draw an image on a sheet of paper, fold the paper to conceal their contribution, and pass it on to the next player for his contribution. Drawing upon this idea we cut and paste to make collaborative 21st Century portraits.

This is a rare chance to meet the artist and learn all about Collagism, the world of BEYOND, Surrealist Party Games, Dadaism, Adornism and Romance.
