Holly-AnneGoProphet(dove emoji)(heart emoji) Download 2.0 is the second video art piece in the Holly-AnneGoProphet Download series from Collagism; excerpts from the pixel diary of Holly-AnneGoProphet. A video collage filmed on her GoPro fingernail camera and social media apps.

This piece explores notions of desire, touch, intimacy and home within the broader theme of Sex and Death - a topic of intensive investigation for Collagism during the BEYOND period (c. 2016-2020). Whilst other pieces the Sex and Death series have been explored through 2D paper collage, this piece takes a full dive into social realism through the medium of video. With all of Collagism’s work the pieces tell personal stories, like a page torn from her diary, they illustrate her life in through multi-media collage

 Staring Mircha Ivens who she met at Flux Social at The Library in Soho, London in May, 2019. Upon their second meeting at Kembra Pfahler’s exhibition at Emalin Gallery in Shoreditch it was agreed that they would begin an adventure through the eyes & ears of HollyAnneGoProphets’ fingernail cam producing a very personal video portrait - A nod to Tracey Emins’ piece The last great adventure is you. 

The process of getting to know one another during a series of meetings became the content of Download 2.0. Each meeting neatly packaged into an episode, layered with poetry, music and sound effects. A video portrait of moments spent together, real or fictional is left to the viewer to decide.
